Call for papers – Spring 2017

The Responsibility to Protect (R2P) Student Journal, in collaboration with STAND – a student-led movement to end mass atrocities – is currently welcoming submissions of papers for the Spring 2017 issue. If you are a current or recent undergraduate or postgraduate student, and have written an excellent essay on R2P or related themes including, but not limited to, atrocity prevention, peacekeeping, peacebuilding, post-conflict reconstruction, international humanitarian law, the women peace and security agenda, and international criminal justice, we encourage you to submit. Papers must be between 2500-6000 words and meet the other criteria outlined in the submission guidelines on our website.

The Journal also accepts shorter analytical pieces of 500-800 words on a rolling basis for our blog. We also welcome creative work related to these themes in the form of poems, videos, photo articles etc.
